The Mainsondheim Castle was built in the 16th century, and in 1728, when the village was transferred to the Barons of Bechtolsheim, various baroque changes were made. The castle with its picturesque courtyard is still privately owned by the family and cannot be visited.

The castle Mainsondheim is a former noble residence in Dettelbacher district Mainsondheim in the Lower Franconian district Kitzingen. It is inhabited today by the von Bechtolsheim family.
