The next hour I stroll through the park and gardens. I walk along the wild track (the deer park) with fallow deer that have a huge area for themselves. Via the rose track, where I think the roses will bloom in the summer, past centuries-old and special trees, to the view mountain.

I walk up the steps of the stairs to the temple that stands on top. It is a beautiful view from here towards the Orangery. I walk down the other stairs and arrive at the first of a number of beautiful bridges. The park is full of ponds and lakes, which are often connected to each other. I walk from one side to the other over bridges. In the meantime, I shoot a lot of photos and enjoy the beautiful park.

Beautiful gardens. While the entrance fee is €7.50 per person, it's not free, but the grounds are extremely well-maintained, completely litter-free, and clean. While there's no catering, there's a decent coffee machine in the entrance area that provides a decent enough cappuccino for €2.00. Restroom facilities are bonfortionable. Numerous less kitschy souvenirs—apparently aimed at "garden lovers"—are available, as well as food items with a "farm shop" feel.
