The Antonius chapel in Altenbeuren was probably built before 1500 as a pilgrimage chapel. It is dedicated to the hermit St. Antonius.
The building of the small chapel has a steep pitched roof, a hexagonal turret with a French dome with a ball and a weather vane. The chapel has four pointed-arched tracery windows, a fifth one in the east wall is walled up except for the arch field. The building was renovated in 1978 and serves as Altenbeuren's village chapel.
