The "Zum Adler" inn in Kronberg's old town is a traditional building, over 400 years old, which gained renown as a meeting place for the Kronberg artists' colony in the 19th century. After a fire in 1780 and extensive renovations in 2011/2012 by local initiatives, it was most recently revived in 2022 with the support of Eintracht Frankfurt professional footballer Martin Hinteregger.
