In the footsteps of Rolando
In the Christian tradition, moving as a pilgrim means going to a place where the relics of a martyr are kept. This is the case, for example, on the way to Santiago de Compostela. In these places, in the testimony of those who gave all of themselves to Jesus, holiness shines and the Lord manifests his grace in a special way.
The Rolando's Way has as its destination the church of Santa Maria a Marola where the shirt of the martyrdom of Blessed Rolando is kept. The precious relic is found in the aisle on the right, next to the tabernacle.
