The village of Meuscha, located near the Dohna city limits, fell into ruin during the Thirty Years' War, except for a single farm in use until the 19th century. The area name Meuschaer Höhe survived, featuring a beautiful orchard and a magnificent view of the peaks of Saxon Switzerland and the Sonnenstein mountain above Pirna.
