The origin of the original church goes back to the year 1220. The patronage of the church is shown on the high altar: the Savior is baptized by John. Above the dove and the eye of God, symbol of the Holy Spirit. The saints Wendelin, Johannes Nepomuk, Aloisius and Sebastian form a wreath in front of the triune God and invite to silence, to repentance and to confess Christ.

Special feature: In the forecourt there are two church portals from the first church building from the 12th century. The core of the floor plan dates from 1350, the tower from the 17th century. In 1980/81, the church was extended by two side aisles and the whole area around the church was redesigned... The open parish garden behind the rectory with a large chestnut tree invites you to gather strength on hikes!
