The only German garden shed museum is located in Langwasser at the end of Karwendelstrasse. It is open every second Sunday in summer from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Seven old garden sheds from Nuremberg allotment colonies can be viewed on the lovingly landscaped grounds. The club members serve coffee and cake during opening hours. Admission is free, donations are possible. More information at kleingaertner-nuernberg.de/laubenmuseum

The sponsor of the Laubenmuseum is the Nuremberg City Association of Allotment Gardeners e.V., 90491 Nuremberg, Oedenberger Straße 112, 1st Chairman Jochen Obermeier.
Between 1994 and 1997, the city association of Nuremberg allotment gardeners saved arbours from the period from 1920 onwards from being destroyed and rebuilt them in the form of a museum in the Karwendelstrasse allotment garden. The seven arcades have been lovingly restored. Life in the allotment garden of the past millennium comes to life again, particularly when viewing the interior design.
