The rectangular tower has four floors with a crenellated porch, the extremely pointed archway shows the year of the conversion, 1532. In the arched passage there are still remains of baroque ceiling paintings depicting the "Assumption of Mary".
The sculpture in its niche is "Christ at the Hostage Column".
"Mähn-Tor" ordered the coachmen to lead their horses downhill (= French "mene").
Increasing traffic forced the second, large passage around 1900.
