After long periods of wetness, mud or water-resistant shoes are recommended, as the puddles on the path sometimes cover the entire width of the path and it is hardly possible to avoid them, as the slope on both sides of the path either drops steeply or rises steeply. Sporty people can probably jump over the puddles, the rest just have to get through it...
There has been a rumor for years that cycling on the horizontal is forbidden, but there are no signs to that effect anywhere! However, it is advisable to use the horizontal route by bike on weekday mornings, as there are hardly any hikers there. At the weekend, the constant need to get out of the way can spoil the fun a little.

No matter whether you are up here on a bike or as a hiker...you should definitely keep in mind: If you need help...in some of the small side valleys, cell phone reception is rather poor. And even if you have reached the rescue control center, the rescue service takes a while to get up here. And transporting a person who can no longer walk on their own is usually very time-consuming. There are no helicopters with winches anywhere near here!
So be careful!
