                        The Hausmannsturm towers over Bad Frankenhausen. It can be reached via a steep, but very nice, serpentine path through the Upper Spa Park. The view over the city and into the hinterland is fantastic.

                            Interesting building with history. Formerly used to protect the brine spring in Bad Frankenhausen and the status changed over the course of history from the house to the castle complex. Nowadays it is maintained by a club itself. Great view of the leaning tower and the city from here, so the climb or driveway (for those not so sporty) is worth it.
