The cycle path is wide and without particular obstacles, especially in the initial stretch (starting from Grecciano); the bottom is a light dirt road, which can also be covered with a road tire without too many problems. The crossing on the Via Emilia is rather biting and requires a lot of caution, because the road is very busy. The only "weak" point, which breaks the continuity of the route, is the section near the iron railway bridge, where you are forced to get off and walk a short untrodden stretch. The cycle path has no signs, and is very unkempt in terms of cleanliness: in many stretches there are heaps of waste, often of construction/industrial origin (in particular, along the driveway section on the north bank, at Ponte Biscottino) . In the final stretch of Stagno there are some typical private "retoni" or "bilancini".
