There is plenty to see on Mezökövesd's main street, Mátyás király ut (King Matthias Street in English).
Whoever strolls through the center can discover a lot.
A number of small and tiny shops are lined up, with a large Coop ABC supermarket in between.
There is practically everything.
From telecommunications to clothing, junk and handicrafts, folklore, matyó, the well-known representatives of the cosmetics industry, library, paper shop, flower shop, liquor store, fishing accessories, pharmacies...and-and-and...
The physical well-being is also taken care of. Small bakers and pastry shops, pizza, kebab shops, ice cream parlors...
Also of interest are the Catholic school across the street, the Matyó Museum, the market square, churches...
I warmly recommend the Piac, the market, to anyone who arrives on a Thursday or Saturday. It is located near the bus station. Above all, fresh food is offered there and the langos are also very tasty! 😉
Another tip for cyclists, a little way from the bus station, in the direction of the roundabout, there is a well-stocked bike shop.
