Western section of the Nordbahntrasse
The route should be familiar: old railway line converted for use as a cycle path and footpath in some spectacular routes (viaducts, tunnels), first-class asphalt.
For fans of accelerated mobility, it should be mentioned that the NBT is mostly heavily frequented (cyclists, walkers, joggers, skaters, dogs, young people, etc. pp.) because of its leisure value (and lack of alternatives in the city). The route is therefore not suitable for speed records (or only on rainy weekday mornings in winter).

The Nordbahntrasse is a disused railway section that has been asphalted and is now ideal for cyclists. From Wuppertal Vohwinkel to Schee. Via the corkscrew route or Glückauf route to solingen-mitte or Hattingen. So definitely worth a detour
