With lines that are as sober as they are classical, this building is a fine example of pure Louis XVI style. The two main facades are made entirely of Gobertange stone. Note the triangular openwork pediment of an oval oculus reminiscent of that of the City Hall. The building appears at the end of the eighteenth century as the culmination, after the castle Pastur (1730), of a row of buildings Jodoignois who were lucky enough to use the Gobertange stone. It has belonged to the Sisters of Providence since 1921. Initially, the sisters occupied the main building of the castle, which became the House of the Sisters. In the summer of 1963, the building underwent a definitive change of ownership with the arrival of the sisters of the Union du Sacré-Coeur... A park decorated with many remarkable trees, including a purple beech at the back of the castle, a gingko Biloba (tree with forty shields) flanking one of the facades of the castle. On the other hand, the old and beautiful charmille has disappeared.
