The estate Vilsteren is not an open-air museum, but a living landscape. The estate is 1035 hectares and is a private family estate. The estate includes the Vilsterse Mühle (an eight-edged gallery mill for grain milling), the manor house and the estate center. The center is a combination of information center, farm shop with local produce and reception room. The manor center is located in a part of the old farm Erve Borrink. The historic farm is located in the middle of the small village Vilsteren.

Landgoed Vilsteren is a living landscape where nature, agriculture and history come together with Huis Vilsteren as the core of the centre. On this estate time seems to have stood still and you can visit farms, but also a village that lies in the middle of it.
