The museum property is located on a rural estate with a 300-year-old farm, a bee house, a vegetable garden, a fruit tree meadow and a modernly restored shed, which is used as an exhibition space. Every year, various exhibitions are organized here about events in the region and about contemporary art.

Our barnyard with a 300 year old farmhouse offers something for everyone. Barns, a haystack, apiary, vegetable garden, and a green meadow with fruit trees. On the edge of the beautiful Veluwe in Epe is the 300 year old farm of Hagedoorns Plaatse.
In our modern exhibition building you see striking exhibitions every year in the field of regional costumes, history and archaeology. Agriculture in ancient times is of course our main attraction.
In 2021, our museum will still be dominated by the commemoration of WWII. In times of scarcity, clothing was made with a lot of creativity from all kinds of materials that were available. You will also read overwhelming stories about going into hiding during WWII in and around Epe. And we have set up special hiding places.
This year you will see special and striking collections of residents of the municipality of Epe in our temporary exhibition space. We start this season with a nostalgic exhibition of postcards and photos of Epe in times long past.
