                                The Staffelberg greets its visitors from afar with its distinctive rock crown. For hikers and nature lovers, the "Berg der Franken" is the biggest attraction in Bad Staffelsteiner Land. He exerts a special, almost mystical fascination. The mountain owes its distinctiveness to its high plateau.
                                The first settlements probably existed from the 5th millennium BC. In the late Iron Age, around 150-50 BC, the Staffelberg was settled by a Celtic oppidum.
