Great way to escape the often intense traffic.

Well developed and yet almost always without traffic.

Roughly in the middle is the power plant, which you can use to drive towards Switzerland, an interesting alternative to the bridge between the two Rheinfelden.

At the height of the fish ladder of the Rheinfelden power plant, a car or truck can sometimes be on its way to the "Alu" (I think: Evonik); Pedestrians like to walk up the Rhine in the direction of Beuggen Castle. Due to the width of the very well paved road (01/2022), you can usually pass each other in a relaxed manner. The view of the always beautiful Rhine is always worth it.

Upwards, either take the Beuggen Castle, which is well worth seeing, to the right - but slowly here; or left and top right. Then through the railway underpass and then briefly back up to the main road.

You can either cross this directly to the RR-compatible bike path or use the pedestrian traffic lights, depending on the traffic situation.

Down the Rhine you come back to the road, which you can either follow or whose crossing leads to parallel roads.

The path leads flat and practically straight along the Rhine. Perfect to pick up a bit more speed - especially since there is little traffic and not too many pedestrians due to the industrial flair...
