Parcel 197, district Röthenbach b. Schweinau is a property of the city of Nuremberg. The Schweinauer Buck is delimited by several railway lines in the north and east, by the Südwesttangente in the south and by the sports club Post SV Nürnberg in the west. The property is shown in the city of Nuremberg's land use plan as a public green space and park, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Main-Danube Canal.

The Schweinauer Buck ♁⊙ is located directly on the southwest bypass and the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal, near the Nuremberg radio tower. This hill was created in the late 1960s from the excavation of the canal basin and the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal and consists mainly of the clayey sands of the area around Maiach / Hinterhof - so it is not a pile of rubble from the early post-war period. After the canal construction work was completed, the hill was planted with greenery and is now a popular tourist destination in the southwest of Nuremberg.
