          After I had previously heard rather negative things about the place in the east of the island, I was very pleasantly surprised. There are three very beautiful bays and even though there is a lot of tourism and large hotel complexes, the place is not overcrowded. Many excursions to other parts of the island also start from here.

            Here you can swim very well on the beaches and the beach bar is also cozy.
            There are several restaurants in town where you can eat well.

            From here it is only 5km to Santa Cruz.
            Walk along the water or simply take the bus for €1.50.
