The market square is lined with restaurants and cafés, each with outdoor seating. On sunny days, it's a lively place. You can even stop for a bite to eat with a view of the castle.
The old town hall is also located on the market square.
Originally an open hall, it served as the town hall from 1752 until after the war. Above it is the civic hall, decorated with Renaissance paintings. The Weinheim coat of arms, featuring the Palatine Lion, the white and blue Wittelsbach lozenges, and the wine ladder, is displayed here.
