From here you have a beautiful view over the Rio Arade to Silves and it is a good starting point for a hike along the river. In winter, numerous birds (storks, spoonbills, cormorants) can also be observed from here.

Unfortunately we didn't take any photos. We came across the restaurant by chance. My wife just wanted a coffee, but then it turned into sole. The food was great, the Caipi was refreshing and the service was very, very friendly and extremely personable.
Plan to take a break of at least 1:30 hours. It's definitely worth a stop.
