    The climb is worth it because there are great views from Montana del Aserrador.
    The path is not always easy to find, it's best to follow the cairns.

        Great views. Step climb up from the water basin. Path is marked with stone towers. Use proper hiking boots at least.

          Quite a tough hike - very off-road and only has a few signs from other hikers (3 stacked stones) every now and then. A beautiful and isolate view as there are few other hikers.

          In honesty, I'd recommend it only for experts and those with proper shoes. There are many other views which are similar but not as risky. The main fun for me was the difficulty of getting up.

            The path is hard to find and I had to turn around because I suddenly found myself on a cliff. I didn't see any stone towers to help me orient myself in this area. The GPS also reached its limits and couldn't guide me to the path. The way back also deviated from the way there, but somehow I got back down and then took the S3 to Roque Nublo. This meant at least an hour wasted, but it was worth it for the view of Ventana de Bentayga and with the category B/C shoes there were no problems.
