Coming off smooth tarmac, you're suddenly into a rough gravel track that meanders up the side of Mont Lozère. It's a challenging yet rewarding section as the trees thin out for stunning views across the high peaks.

This climb in Bikepacking was one of the most trying of the Ardèche Cévennes Divide for me.
