Within the last 11 days we had cycled over 4,000 kilometers northwards from Lake Garda. Our destination: the North Cape. But the closer we got to our goal, the further it seemed to be moving away from us. The weather became increasingly uncomfortable, the temperature dropped, the wind turned and it began to rain. After we had covered a good 500km with constant headwind, temperatures around 5 ° C and occasional rain showers, our motivation was at its lowest point.
