Upstream on the right side of the hill is an impressive rock panorama. Surrounded by juniper heaths, which reflects the original landscape of the Franconian Switzerland. As the most striking rock we find the "Old Fritz", north of it extends the rock needle Himmelssteuberer crowned with the coat of arms pennant of the former community Neuhaus in the air.

The rock garden in Neuhaus with the Himmelssteuberer rock needle lies on the castle rock. Where once a castle of the Andechs-Meranians lay, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Aufseß valley and the town of Neuhaus from the heaven steiner.

A great rock formation that sticks up into the sky like a needle. You can also get pretty close by mountain bike. Great view of Neuhaus and the valley. Definitely a must-see if you're in the area.
