The information on the Internet about the age of the church vary: from 700 years old to 1875. In any case, it is nice to look at and idyllically located in the quiet center of Prieros

The Protestant village church of Prieros is a neo-Romanesque hall church. The building replaced a baroque half-timbered church that had become so dilapidated in 1859 that security measures were necessary. In 1870 the parish decided to demolish the sacred building and commissioned craftsmen who built a new building between 1873 and 1875. A comprehensive renovation took place around 1982.
