1796년 10월 8일 대화재로 교회가 소실되었습니다. 현재의 목조 교회 기초석 축조는 1809년 6월 5일 같은 장소에서 이루어졌으며, 교회는 1811년 11월 10일에 봉헌되었습니다. 그동안 예배는 Ludwiger Zechenhaus에서 열렸습니다[2][3]. 교회 본당의 크루펠발름 지붕에서는 서쪽에 6각형의 지붕탑이 솟아 있으며, 종 모양의 덮개로 덮여 있습니다. 1813년부터 이곳에는 단 하나의 타종만 매달려 있습니다.

The Protestant St. Martin's Church in St. Andreasberg was built in the classicist style between 1809 and 1811. It replaced the St. Trinity Church, which was completely destroyed in the devastating city fire of 1796. The new church was inaugurated on November 10th - St. Martin's Day - and was named after this saint. The bell tower of the St. Martin's Church stands a little way from the building on the Glockenberg and is the landmark of St. Andreasberg.

In Sankt Andreasberg, the main church is the Protestant Martini Church (St. Martini), located on the church square. Formerly the site of the Trinity Church (Dreifaltigkeitskirche), which was destroyed by fire in 1796, its bell tower is now the town's most famous landmark. The current church is the Martini Church. There is also a Roman Catholic parish in the town.
