Great vantage point and great place for a new stamping station, formerly the Bremer cliff. Due to the relocation of the stamp office, you can now plan a round tour from Hohegeiß to Hahnestein-Kapellenfleck-Gipfelblick-Dicke Tannen, approx. 21.5 km.

A wonderful view of the Harz Mountains, with Wurmberg and Brocken. A table with benches invites you to rest and linger. With such a view, the snack tastes even better. ;)

The Kaiserweg, on which this stamp box is located, is a long-distance hiking trail and runs for about 100 kilometers from Bad Harzburg via Walkenried and Nordhausen to Tilleda in the Kyffhäuser Mountains. The three federal states of Lower Saxony, Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt are crossed.
The path is named after Emperor Heinrich IV, who fled from the Harzburg from the Saxons in 1074 and sought protection in the southern Harz monasteries and in the small town of Tilleda.

This stamping point is located right at the junction, with a clear view of Wurmberg and Brocken. The HWN 163 with the Bremer Klippe used to be at a different location.

The New 163 is very well chosen. We didn't have the Mage all-round summit view. But Wurmi was in the sunshine and we (despite the wind and cold) enjoyed the view there for a long time.
