The Zwickenbachtal nature trail opens up this special natural area and invites you to discover the stream with all its beauty, hidden peculiarities and ecological significance.
A total of four panels along the approximately 4 km long nature trail provide clear information. In addition, numbered stones mark the stations of the 7-stone learning trail in the area.

The Zwickenbachtal is located on the edge of the Meller Mountains in the beautiful Osnabrück hills! From a geological point of view, the Meller Mountains were particularly badly disrupted and fissured by shifts and folds in the earth's crust, so that streams were able to dig particularly well into the soft rock along the fractures.
Mountain ridges and V-shaped valleys were created, the orientation of which was determined by the flow of water.
