One of the oldest half-timbered houses in the district

Built around 1750

The building alone has museum value

Originally preserved and furnished weaver's house
Lots of old equipment
Glance into the arduous life of previous generations

Home weaving was a meager source of income for centuries. Traders were a partner of the house weavers, they sold the weavers the yarn and bought back the finished goods. Industrialization brought about the decline of home weaving. You can visit a still working loom and receive a lot of information about our ancestors.

There is the possibility to experience guided tours through the old weaver house. We ask for early registration on 035 936 398 21.
