    The Krukenburg Castle ruins are a popular tourist destination. The keep is accessible, and from its viewing platform, you can enjoy panoramic views of parts of the northern Hessian hills and the Solling region, the old historic town of Helmarshausen and the monastery grounds, as well as parts of Bad Karlshafen. The view from the tower is truly magnificent.

    Well worth a visit – highly recommended.
