The promontory of Capo Pecora, in the splendid Costa Verde, is a secluded, intact and fascinating place. Its granite outcrop emerges on a coast dominated by limestone rocks: the pink of the granite contrasts with the turquoise of the sea and the green of the Mediterranean scrub. Cliffs overlooking the sea, shaped by the wind, delimit it, surrounding small pebble beaches smoothed by the incessant action of the sea. In these coves, the rocks take on particular shapes, with one of them known as "dinosaur egg beach".

Capo Pecora is recognised by the SIC (Site of Community Importance) and is located on the extreme south side of Cape Verde. The beach is characterised by its light, coarse sand and its steep cliffs that slope into the sea. The beach is rarely visited, except perhaps in the summer months. It is a great place to relax in unspoilt nature. The clear water, the golden cliffs and the Mediterranean flora are unforgettable.
