The Wehnser Postmeilenstein stands at the old historic postal cross between Neu-Wehnsen and Kettenburg. The one line led from Hanover to Stade. The second postal route went from Harburg Visselhövede to Nienburg with connection to Osnabrück to the Netherlands.
The stone is calibrated and entered in the real estate map of the cadastre office Rotenburg / Wümme. He is also registered with the Research Group Milestones e.V. under the registration number "1950". An explanatory board next to the stone gives further hints.

Post milestone made of granite and restored south of Visselhövede at the historic post office crossing between Neu-Wehnsen and Kettenburg. This milestone has been measured and entered on the property map of the Rotenburg / Wümme land registry office. In 1818 the Hanover government set the length of a mile to be about 7,417 meters.
