The church of Troisvierges was first mentioned in 1489. At that time it was a chapel in which the 3 virgins Fides, Spes and Caritas were venerated. In 1630, Franciscan monks began building a monastery, which was later expanded to include a church. In 1653, the construction of new walls around the old chapel started, which remained until the completion of the church in 1658. Today the church is one of the most important historical buildings in the town. It was built in the Baroque style and houses one of the oldest organs in the country as well as paintings in the style of Rubens and statues of the 3 virgins, "trois vierges" in French, which gave the town its name.

The gold-decorated church with the large rood screen between the parish hall and the high altar is not my style. But the colorful window on the entrance side is worth seeing.
