"Guillermo De Lucca is concerned with a sensual experience of art, whereby the stone seems to come closest to him in nature: its tactile and optical quality is decisively determined by whether it is untreated or processed and polished. The sculptor achieves this with these contrasting means not only a playful liaison between idea and material, but it also awakens emotions and associations that are left to the viewer's imagination: one could also see a human silhouette in the upright gemstone, stretching an arm upwards.

For De Lucca, the multi-part work represents “dreams of leaves,” “representing the wave movements of wind and water.” The desired sensual approach goes so far that he explicitly sees his stones as seating areas where one can "touch the art with one's own hands, where the person sitting can be touched by the art and feel the energy of the stone."
