Asphalted walking paths lead through the Karlspark under the old trees. Several benches invite you to linger and relax. A spring, the so-called Marienquelle, gushes in the middle of the park: the spring is said to have healing powers
Karlspark: A paradise for bees and insects

Insect-friendly flower strips run through Karlspark in a wide aisle. Over 4000 daffodils bloom here alone, and their flowers attract insects very early in the year. This flower strip was created back in 2012 and is one of the numerous measures in the Alpine city against bee deaths. Several beehives in Karlspark are home to the endangered insects.
The arboriculture trail in Karlspark

On the arboriculture trail established in Karlspark in 1999, 20 boards provide information on various types of trees and shrubs, from normal trees to local features. Among other things, it serves the Reichenhall schools to provide information on tree science and nature conservation.
