Anafiotika is a strange area, an area that is hard to find in the hearts of many European cities: it is a colony of less than fifty small white houses built in the 19th century by workers who arrived in the years 1840-1863 from the islet of Anafi in the Cyclades. Bricklayers, carpenters, stonemasons, roofers and workers of other specialties came to Athens to work: they built the palace of King Otto I, built elegant houses for the citizens, worked on the reconstruction of the city, but they had to settle somewhere with their families. betaki.pl/wp/anafiotika-moje-miejsca-w-atenach
