La Roda is a hydraulic building that raised the waters of the Séquia de Fondos in the La Roda Pond, built at the beginning of the s. XVIII in wood and composed of 8 spokes. It is provided on the periphery with 40 blades, on which the force of the water acted, rotating it on an iron shaft. Whoever wanted to water, asked the president of the orchard for a turn, who gave him the key to the door of the pond where the roll was.
It is the only vertical ferris wheel in the area, associated with the Séquia de Fondos. Although it was still in use until 2002, the lack of flow and the change to another irrigation system caused it to stop working and deteriorate.
It was restored in 2007 with the collaboration of the Diputació de València, being in sight of pedestrians (the original construction was installed inside a masonry house that protected it). Its surroundings were also rehabilitated to revitalize the area and encourage rural tourism.
In its day, the set was made up of the ferris wheel and the raft with which about 90 fanecadas of the homonymous game were watered.
Nearby there is a bridge over the river Bunyol in a very leafy and pleasant place.
