This lonning runs behind Tesco on Warwick Road, sometimes it can be quite muddy, however there's a style to climb over half way down which cuts across the field.

This route can be used as a lovely ‘country walk’ into Carlisle town centre, by following the river Eden: from Tesco’s to The Sands.

My dog loves it in and out of water. Peaceful walk just watch out for possible golf balls flying if you enter the golf course towards Rickery park.
