Great downhill from Haugsvarden summit.
Downhill is one of the better known in the area and you can meet several bikers in good weather.
The trail consists of two sections.
The upper part consists of a pleasantly flowing S2 and can partly be pushed uphill but also driven. At the beginning a long and then a few small wooden walkways were built. Important to note: the trail splits up to 620 m. Here it is advisable to choose the right path in the downhill direction, as this was built especially for MTBers. The part ends at a parking lot at the 500hm limit. You can drive up to here by car.
The second part goes from the parking lot down to 140hm. Here the trail goes through the forest, becomes rougher and more difficult to drive (S3). Protectors and a fully are recommended here.
If you want to drive this part of the trail as well, it is recommended to drive the MTB up to the parking lot at 500 m and then park the car at 100 m on the road. This saves you having to carry your MTB up the S3 through the forest (which is, however, also feasible) and you only have to push / drive it to the summit.
