This really is quite unsuitable for inexperienced cyclists or families with young children. Dry weather causes deep tricky ruts which can be awkward to navigate, and wet weather causes lots of mud. So feel that whilst some of it is easily navigable, there are many sections which unless you are on a good mtb or trail bike, and are proficient and have good bike handling, will need to be walked. Definitely not suitable for occasional or novice cyclists and young children. Great fun otherwise!
