        Located at the sources of the Veules, the watercress beds once provided the river's primary product: watercress. The flow, the clear, lively water of the Veules
        favored this crop. This cruciferous vegetable is appreciated for its spicy flavor and smell similar to mustard.
        From mid-August to the end of May (watercress is a winter salad rich in vitamins, no watercress production from June to mid-August), Monsieur Mahieu offers the sale of watercress, soup and watercress butter. Find these products on the Luneray market on Sunday mornings, and on Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Veules watercress beds (5 p.m. out of season).
