The outdoor pool Dellwig, which was put into operation in 1928 and reopened after the war in 1946, has been leased to the RuWa Dellwig association since 1985. The outdoor pool is located next to the Rhein-Herne-Kanal.
The 12,000 square meters of lawns and 1,500 square meters of ball playing areas are shaded by old trees. In addition, an attractive mother-child area offers many opportunities for play. A sales kiosk is available. As a water surface, a sports pool (18 m x 50 m) and a non-swimmer pool (32 m x 70 m) are offered.

The bathing establishment is called Hesse. Not outdoor pool.
👍Ideal for small children (a long, gently sloping area in the non-swimmers) and in the separate pool the swimmers' area.
Lovingly operated by RuWa Dellwig since 1985.
There is also a large playground and (also) a sunbathing area for 3000 guests directly at the non-swimmer pool.
The sanitary rooms are large and bright.
There is also a beach volleyball field, soccer goals and a table tennis table.
And a kiosk with ice cream, fries & co.
Parking spaces are available.
Also for the departments canoeing, water polo, swimming, gymnastics, ...
