A historic wooden church from 1664. Built on the basis of a foundation probably by Stanisław Bielawski. Restored at the end of the 18th century thanks to the efforts of Marceli Poniński. Restored in 1850, 1958, 1990 and 2006.
Next to the chapel, there is a mission cross from 1968, a well with a spring and an unused bell from the Lauchhammer foundry.

The oldest preserved reference to the church (or rather the chapel) in Lipówka comes from 1696. It is recorded in the general canonical visitation of the parish of the archdeaconry of Gniezno, conducted by archdeacon Stanisław Lipski. The visitation of the Wrzesin parish took place on December 23, 1696. The said visitation states that in a place called "Lipówka" there is a wooden church of the Holy Cross, built over fifty years earlier. This means that the first chapel in Lipówka was built shortly before 1646 and was most likely founded by the provosts (parish priests) of Wrzesin.
