The Zitzmannsdorf meadows are the largest contiguous meadow area in Austria with about 400 hectares. They have been protected since 1926, and since 1993 they have been part of the preservation zone of the national park
Neusiedler See - Seewinkel. On the sandy lake dam the bike path B 10 runs, on foot you can walk on paths further into the meadows and admire the unique plant world. The Zitzmannsdorf meadows are a worthwhile destination for nature lovers in every season.
