You have to deviate from the Red Hiking Trail and enter the forest a bit. The small cemetery is fenced, the gate is sometimes locked with a padlock. Among the seven mass graves and sixty-two individual graves there is a monument with a plaque in two languages, Polish and Hebrew: IN HONOR OF THE BIAŁYSTOKERS, THE FIRST VICTIMS OF HITLERISM, 5,000 JEWS MURDERED ON 3 AND 12 VII 1941, AND 100 POLES AND BELARUSIANS MURDERED LATER.

The forest contains 7 mass graves, 62 individual graves and a monument commemorating the place of execution of 5,000 Białystok Jews shot on 3 and 12 July 1941 and approx. 100 Poles and Belarusians murdered by the Germans during World War II.

The history of the events in Lasek Pietrasze was described by Felicja Nowak, a fugitive from the Białystok ghetto, in a volume of memoirs entitled "My Star".

The small cemetery is fenced, but the gate is not locked and you can enter its grounds. Among the seven mass graves and sixty-two individual graves, there is a monument with a plaque in two languages: Polish and Hebrew.
