Of the set of these houses, only three can be visited: the Casa de la Sirena, which houses an inn where you can taste tradition, and the Casas del Rey, which allow you to see original construction elements inside, such as the wooden beams and which house , to everyone's delight, "the most beautiful little museum in the world": the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art.

The Hanging Houses, also called Casas del Rey, are a series of civil buildings in the Spanish city of Cuenca. They are named because part of them is cantilevered, or have large balconies, which overhang the high rocky cornice of the Huécar River Gorge. The only three examples of this type of building that still exist are the Casa de la Sirena and the two Casas de los Reyes, built between the 13th and 15th centuries.

Perched on the rocky ledge above the Huécar gorge, the Hanging Houses are an undisputed symbol of Cuenca and true jewels of popular Gothic architecture. Made of masonry with ashlars at the corners and supported on corbels, they look out over the river from their wooden balconies projecting over the cliff.
