The Kump is a beautiful city fountain, in which recently unknown "rascals" made the water foam with a likewise unknown "substance" ;-). The foam chaos was eliminated for a whopping 8,000 euros.
The Kump was already mentioned in 1579. At that time it was still standing in the middle of the market square between the church and the town hall. It is 3m in diameter with a square pillar with gargoyles in the centre. It was moved to its current location in 1835.
